When CBS and 60 Minutes found out that Jack Ellery, was feuding with the U.S. Attorney to Florida, they brought their cameras to Jack's WFLA studio. On air, Jack defended a black World War II hero who according to Jack, "was being persecuted and prosecuted." CBS heard about what was going on, and featured Jack and the U.S. Attorney in a segment.

Memories of a Liberal Radio Talk Show Host:. It started at WNBH, New Bedford, then to Bates College, and then a fast track to the 'big city'. From taking a shower at the station during a newscast, and having to finish his show dressed only in a towel, elephantto riding an elephant to victory in a race at a circus, (that's Jack aboard Daisy at right) Jack's stories are legend.

Teamed with Joe Garagiola and Bill Cullen, on NBC's Monitor, radio personality Jack Ellery says, "It was fun stuff, they were talented people who didn't even realize they were trail-blazing talk radio.
